EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY · NEW YORK CITY

NYC event photography that looks like the night felt.

Most event galleries are 400 photos of people holding drinks and looking at a lens. We shoot the other thing: the laugh two seconds after the toast, the dad who lost it during the speech, the dance floor at the exact moment it broke open.

THE PROBLEM

Posed group shots are the least printed photo in history.

Here's the thing nobody tells you when you hire an event photographer: the photos people keep are almost never the ones they stopped to take. They're the in-between frames. The reaction shots. The two people at the bar who forgot anyone was there.

So we work the room from the edges. Long enough lenses that you stop clocking us, fast enough glass that we don't need to nuke a dark venue with flash. You still get your family lineup and your sponsor-wall photos, we just don't build the whole night around them.

That's also why we shoot with two photographers on anything over 75 people. One covers the moment. One covers the room watching the moment. The second one is usually the better photo.

WHAT YOU GET

Every event booking includes

01

A planning call

We lock the run of show and name the five moments you would be upset to lose. Speeches, cake, hora, first dance, award handoff, whatever your night hinges on.

02

Two photographers

Standard on 75+ guests and on any event with a ceremony plus a party. Coverage of the moment and the reaction at the same time.

03

Real lighting

Off-camera light bounced, not blasted. Dark ballrooms, low-lit lofts and club buyouts still look like themselves.

04

48-hour first look

Edited selects while people still care, sized for Instagram, LinkedIn and press. Post the same week, not next month.

05

Full gallery in 14 days

Every keeper, professionally edited, in print-resolution and web-sized versions. Download links you can share with the whole guest list.

06

Print rights, no upsell

You own personal and internal-use rights to your photos on delivery. No per-print licensing games.

THE LIST · IF PEOPLE SHOW UP, WE SHOOT IT

Birthdays. Board rooms. Bar mitzvahs.

Same crew, same standard, whether it's 30 people in a Bushwick loft or 600 in a Midtown ballroom.

PRICING · FLAT, NOT HOURLY-PLUS-SURPRISES

Straight numbers

Coverage is quoted flat by hours and headcount. You know the number before you book, and it doesn't move because the speeches ran long by ten minutes.

HOW IT RUNS

Four steps. No mystery.

You send the date

Date, venue, headcount, and what the photos are actually for. We come back with availability and a flat quote, usually the same day.

We build the shot list

A short call to lock the run of show. The five moments you'd be upset to lose get named out loud before anyone picks up a camera.

We shoot the room

Two bodies, fast primes, on-camera and off-camera light when the venue is dark. We work the edges, not the middle. Nobody gets herded unless you asked for group shots.

First look in 48 hours

A gallery of selects you can post that week, sized for Instagram, LinkedIn and press. Full edited set inside 14 days.

FAQ

Event photography questions

What is included in event photography coverage?

Pre-event planning call, a named shot list, coverage by one or two photographers, professional editing on every delivered frame, a 48-hour first-look gallery and a full online gallery with print and web-sized downloads plus print rights.

How many hours of coverage do we need?

Two hours covers a focused party or a single presentation. Four hours covers most birthdays, corporate receptions and mitzvah parties end to end. Six to eight hours covers a full-day conference or a ceremony plus party. If you are unsure, book the smaller block, we will tell you honestly if it will not fit.

Can we add a photo booth or step-and-repeat?

Yes. A branded step-and-repeat or an on-site printed photo station can be added to any event. It doubles as the fastest way to get guests' faces into your marketing with permission on the night.

Do you travel outside New York City?

Yes. No travel fee inside 40 miles of Downtown Brooklyn, which covers all five boroughs, most of Long Island, Westchester and North Jersey. Beyond that we quote travel flat up front.

Do you carry insurance and can you send a COI?

Yes. Most Manhattan venues require a certificate of insurance naming them as additional insured. Send us the venue contact and we will handle it directly.

What happens if the photographer gets sick?

We work with a vetted bench of New York shooters and carry a backup for every booked date. Your date does not go uncovered.

NEXT STEP

Tell us the date. We'll tell you straight.

Date, venue, headcount. If we're not the right fit for your night, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.
